I’m going talk about meat and the, “Kiwi burger”. Do you know anything about Kiwi burger? This burger is a very popular burger in New Zealand. This burger’ inside was a big hamburger, sunny side up egg, lettuce, mayonnaise, tomato source, and beetroot. Beetroot is a kind of turnip. The most common type of turnip is mostly white-skinned. But beetroot’s color is red. The left picture is beetroot. In Japan’s McDonald’s, there are some special burgers. For example, Teriyaki, Otsukimi, and so on.

In New Zealand, the number of sheep is more than that of people, and stock breeding is very popular. So New Zealand exports a lot of lamb. This picture is lamb dishes.
Lamb is introduced very safe and healthy meat in the world. Of course in Japan, lamb dishs are introduced asジンギスカン.

★NewZealand Food★

The left photo is "Kiwi burger". The burger' inside are big hamburg, sunny-side up egg,lettuce, mayonnaise, tomato source , beetroot. Beet is a kind of turnip. Of course, McDonald has this burger only In New Zealand. The Kiwi burger's package is very interesting.

New Zewaland is very famous for "ice-cream". Dairy produce is popular in Kiwi, so icecream is very rich. Especially, "hokey pokey" is very famous,

I would like to introduce about Nagoya festival. This festival has long history. It has been held about 50 years ago. It is famous for very long and gorgeous parades. The main parade is procession of Nagoya’s great general. The upper right and the lower right picture are main parade’s. These men disguise “Samurai” in Sengoku period. The center picture is the girl who is dancing and performing. The lower left picture is Nana chan. She is the symbol in Nagoya city. She also disguises Samurai.

This is the “flower car parade” this parade is very beautiful. The bottom pictures are beautiful flower cars. The top of pictures are brass band and baton twirlers. Beautiful floats decorated many wild flowers parade the street,and many dancers, brass band, baton twirlers follow the cars.

★Nagoya festival★

I would like to introduce about Nagoya festival. This festival has long history. It has been held about 50years ago. Maybe you know about this festival. Because it is famous for very gorgeous parades. this year, the festival was held in October 11 (saturday), and 12 (sunday). Nagoya festival is large scale, so every year Nagoya city regulates the traffic. The range of the regulation is also wide. From Nagoya station to Sasashima, Hirokoji street, Otsu street.

The main gorgeous and brilliant parade is procession of Nagoya's 3 great general,　Oda Nobunaga, Toyotomi Hideyoshi, Tokugawa Ieyasu. they march in row 700 people the street.

They disguise as samurai and princess and so on. Of course, You can disguise samurai. Every year, many people apply for performing parade. Common man can perform Nobunaga or Hideyoshi. But usually women that work at department store (Mitsukoshi, Maruei, and Matsuzakaya) perform princess, for example Nene and Nou princess.

Other parades are also great. “flower car parade” is very beautiful. Beautiful floats decorated many wild flowers parade, and many dancers, brass band, baton twirlers follow folats. “dashi zoroe” is also famous. 9 valuable and traditional floats parade the street. You can see curtains embroidered luxuriously, parapets’ wonderful sculpture, great delicacy dolls. These parade is very precious opportunity to see kinetic art.
